The AFCEA InfoTech 2007 Business Seminars Committee invites you to contribute original and innovative abstracts on topics related to this year’s theme.

The Business Seminars Committee will provide three venues at InfoTech 2007 for Industry and Government leaders to present on technical and management topics.  We will offer:

  • Panel discussions with a mixture of Government and Industry representatives, this panel will be 1.5 hours in length
  • One hour seminars for Industry and Government representatives to present ideas, concepts and/or demonstrations on subjects relating to the conference theme
  • Room set asides for companies to provide discussions, presentations, and/or demonstrations on conference related topics

Topics for this year’s Business Seminar Topics include:

  • Enterprise Acquisition
    • Enterprise Architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
    • Enterprise Transformation
    • ERP Business Transformation
    • Enterprise IT Best Practices
  • IT Service Management
    • Cutting Edge Technologies
    • Impacts of Virtualization
    • AFSO-21
    • Asset Management
    • RFID
  • Information Assurance

Abstracts will be reviewed and considered by the Business Seminars Committee before final acceptance. Companies submitting abstracts that are selected will have the opportunity to participate in a panel or to sponsor an individual seminar.

Panels will have several industry and/or government subject matter experts, a moderator, and a facilitator; giving us the opportunity to provide a quality program for conference participants as well as provide valuable visibility for the presenters. During the review process, the seminar committee may decide to combine your submittal with other submissions to create a panel. If that is decided, a seminar committee member will contact you and discuss it with you.

This year we will have an early bird discount:

If your abstract is in before the early bird date of July 16, 2007, and your abstract is chosen, you will receive a 20% discount on your seminar or panel price.

If you are interested in presenting at this year's InfoTech, please review the requirements below and return the necessary information via email by July 31, 2007, to:
