The AFCEA InfoTech 2008 Business Seminars Committee invites you to contribute original and innovative abstracts on topics related to this year’s theme. Please read the entire page as the dates and procedures have changed from previous years.

The Business Seminars Committee will provide three venues at InfoTech 2008 for Industry and Government leaders to present on technical and management topics. We will offer:
- Panel discussions with a mixture of Government and Industry representatives
- One hour individual seminars for Industry and Government representatives to present ideas, concepts and/or demonstrations on subjects relating to the conference theme
- Room set-asides for companies to provide discussions, presentations, and/or demonstrations on conference related topics

- Cyber Security and Information Assurance
- Enterprise Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Enterprise Acquisition
- Cutting Edge Technologies

Submission Requirements |
Submissions for presenting at this year's conference will be accepted between June 1 and August 1, 2008. Submissions should include the following:
- Presenter name, phone and email address
- Company name
- A one-paragraph abstract on the topic for publication in flyers, etc.
- A bio of the presenter(s) for inclusion in flyers, etc.
Please identify as part of the submission whether you desire an individual seminar, panel or room set-aside along with what topic area you consider the presentation.
Abstracts will be reviewed and considered by the Business Seminars Committee before final acceptance.

Final Presentation Information |
The final presentation in PowerPoint or PDF format for placement on the InfoTech 2008 website following the conference is due to the Business Seminar Committee by October 3, 2008.
Each presenter will be asked to sign a release for public dissemination of their presentation following notification of acceptance. |
Payments |
Upon abstract selection, participants will be notified and provided an invoice with amount due. This year, all payments are due by October 3, 2008. Any session, panel or room set-aside not paid in full by the cut-off will be cancelled and the presenters will be notified. |
