Overview

This Conference is conducted annually by the Dayton-Wright Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) since 1991. It is AFCEA’s premier information technology event in the Midwest, featuring top-level speakers, technical seminars, and professional training courses.

Over 2,600 industry, government, and academic professionals interested and working in all dimensions of business and Defense information technologies attend. The Trade Show exceeds 150 booths featuring industry and government displays and demonstrations of emerging information technologies.

The InfoTech 2009 Conference theme is: "Information...Integral to the Joint Fight"

InfoTech Conferences and other Dayton-Wright Chapter activities have been instrumental in helping to create the world-class “Hub” of research and development; Supercomputing; constructive and virtual modeling, simulation, and analysis; operational support systems expertise; government and industry technical infrastructure; and other technical capabilities that abound in the Wright-Patterson/Greater Dayton Region. This national “Hub” is a major enabling force behind Air Force Materiel Command’s leadership of the Develop and Sustain Warfighting Systems, and Air Force Smart Operations 21 initiatives; the Aeronautical Systems Center’s technical leadership in building the modeling, simulation, and analysis processes necessary to support Acquisition, Development Planning, and Capabilities Integration for the Air Force; the National Air and Space Intelligence Center’s increasing 24X7 Warfighter support; the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Sensors, Human Performance, Propulsion, Air Vehicles, and Materials and Manufacturing capabilities at Wright-Patt; and the 554 Electronic Systems Wing’s implementing the Expeditionary Combat Support System and other modernization programs for on-going support of Overseas Contingency Operations.
