The TechNet-Aero 2011 Technical Seminars Committee invites you to contribute original and innovative abstracts on topics related to this year’s theme. Please read the entire page, as the dates and procedures have changed from previous years.

The Technical Seminars Committee will provide two venues at TechNet-Aero 2011 for Industry and Government leaders to present on technical and management topics. We will offer:

• One hour individual seminars for Industry and Government representatives to present ideas, concepts and/or demonstrations on subjects relating to the conference theme
• Room set asides for companies to provide discussions, presentations, and/or demonstrations on conference related topic

Topics for this year's Technical Seminars include:

• Operational Capability & Cost Optimization Techniques
  
  • Example: Integration frameworks for multi-model technologies, etc.
    
• Airborne Network Payload Compression Technologies
  
  • Example: Moving large amounts of content over "Airborne" networks, etc.
    
• Lean Manufacturing & Materials Technologies
  
  • Example: UAV manufacturing and materials, etc.
    
• Cyber Security & Information Assurance
  
• Semantic Web and Services Oriented Architectures (SOA)
  
• Agile Development of Enterprise Capabilities
  
  • Example: Air Force SDDP process
    
• Real Enterprise Management
  
  • Example: Asset, Master Data, etc…
    
• Knowledge Engineering and Realization
  
  • Example: Getting better information to decision makers at all levels
    
• Platform IT and Interface/Integration to Telecommunications/Cyber transport
  
  • Example: UAV remote operations and security
    
• Industrial Control System/SCADA: National critical infrastructure

Submissions for presenting at this year's conference will be accepted between July 1 and October 1, 2011.  Please identify as part of the submission whether you desire an individual seminar or room set-aside, along with what topic area you consider the presentation.

This year, we will be accepting presentations on a first-come, first-served basis. Presentations will be reviewed, and a time-slot and room will be assigned as available. Submissions will be paid in full at time of abstract submission.  Any early bird rate is available if submitted prior to September 2, 2011.

The final presentation in PowerPoint or PDF format for placement on the TechNet-Aero 2011 website following the conference is due to the Technical Seminar Committee by October 21 2011.

Each presenter will be asked to sign a release for public dissemination of his or her presentation following notification of acceptance.

This year, all payments are due when abstracts are submitted. Any session, panel or room set-aside not paid in full by October 7, 2011 will be cancelled, and the presenter(s) will be notified.
